Hey everybody,
Let's post some screenshots and observations from the Main Event. I just glanced at the leaderboard, and with some other threads here discussing women in poker, it's great to see two prominent female players in the chip lead currently (Melanie Weisner and Maria Ho).
There's still a lot of poker left to be played, so it's not yet time to celebrate, but how great would it be for the November 9 concept, which seems to have become stale, with many people thinking it has run its course, if one or both of these women make the final table. Jennifer Shehade (one of the Grindettes) has a top 35 stack as well.
Also, lots of big names still left in the Main Event, including some former final tablists and champions from Main Events past (Antoine Saout - from the Joe Cada year; Greg Raymer - 2004 Main Event Champion; Marc-Etienne McLaughlin - The Ryan Riess year; Will Tonking - The Martin Jacobson year; Doug Kim - The Jamie Gold Year; Johnny Chan - Two time Main Event Champion, and others).
It's going to be a fun finish to this year's Main Event.
