Rafael Nadal Plays Poker in Paris with Fans

Rafa decided to have fun with his fans when he was in town for the Roland Garros tournament.

In a 200 player tournament he got a taste for playing live poker - and the fans who finished in the top 20 got a pokerstars chips set signed by him.

As Rafa told the Indpendent, "Poker is like tennis. You can't play crazy because you'll make mistakes."

on poker table, Rafael is beatable.

but at tennis field, regular or pro is unable to beat Rafael, unless RF is playing at poker stars...

Well I guess I'll never get opportunity to play tennis with him so ... maybe one day it will poker )))?

Rafa is soooo badass. He's my 2nd fave tennis player of all-time.

I miss watching the amazing match-ups between him & Federer. It seemed like they were HU all the time.

When he joined the PSPteam, I was stoked.

The quote he made is soooo right on. I think my winrate lines would be nearly straight up if I didn't do that.

Yea, he's in the semifinals @ this point.

Plays a very tough Djokovic next. But, I think he has it in the bag.

God I miss Pokerstars. Anyways, cool find. I always love reading about famous people playing poker. I know a lot of the pro soccer players play a lot, like Cristiano Ronaldo.

thanks for posting that. rafa is amazing at tennis, and i know he is so competitive in everything he does, so he might do very well at Poker too.He has the never quit, fighting spirit for sure.

rafa is a big one I really like, well like I think the best tennis player is Roger. I think full stop for poker no good at all! advertising only.
