The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) has sent an open letter to the "Owners, Officers, and Managers at Lock Poker" demanding clarification of four key areas of business that relate to the payout of players. More specifically:

Excerpt from PPA letter to Lock Poker said:
1) Does Lock Poker keep players’ funds segregated from operating funds? If so, what mechanism is used to accomplish this separation?

2) Does Lock Poker have, or will it be implementing, a system to organize its payment processing so that those who have been waiting the longest will be given priority in future payments?

3) Does Lock Poker have a timeline of its plan to pay its players in full?

4) Will Lock Poker immediately provide open, accurate, up-to-date information regarding time required to process customer withdrawal requests?

Do you think this letter will gain any response or action from Lock Poker in regards to their customers' payouts? What effect, if any, do you think this will have? Leave your comments here in the thread.

I don't believe this or any other form of letter or question will get a real answer or resolve the problem. I believe the only way we as a online poker community will ever grow is to put this site behind us. All talking about lock does is make every new online poker player think twice before trusting any site.

Everyone who has money on lock I'm sorry, but you need to just stop playing on the site and quit talking about it. No disrespect for any of the online poker players, but I think its time to burn the monopoly money they call lock poker and move on.

I would love for something to happen, some form of action, I really hope lock gets back on track because I have always been a lock fan since they were with merge. I know most of the poker community hate them, but I won't lie when I say that I'll be the first one back there playing if/when they resolve the payout issue.

I don't think this letter will get a response and if they do respond it will probably be about the same thing every one of their players has ever heard from Lock, a bunch of BS.

The last time I logged into Lock there were less than 100 players online. I don't see payouts coming soon, if ever, with that kind of traffic; I really can't see how they're making enough to keep the lights on at that rate.
