The new $100 Spin & Go's feature a $95+$5 buy-in, along with the possibility of players qualifying for a top prize of $300,000, or 3,000 times the buy-in. The average rake, in this case $5, is determined by looking at the average distribution of the prize pool over 300,000 games in relation to the buy-in. The five percent average rake shares the same rake structure as the $15, $30, and $60 games, while the $3 & $7 Spin & Go's feature a six percent rake and the $1 games seven percent.

This is true. There has already been two winners- 'Lev729' and 'flesske' who are both from Hungary. They spun their way to $300,000, each taking down the huge prize pool in just minutes of three-handed play. The runners-up in the two Spin & Go tournaments were 'ian2104' from ireland, 'AlexRAVXXX' from Russia, Estonia's 'barrakuuda4' and Israel's 'wallaks'- also each pocketed $30,000 for their troubles.

How does this spin&go work? Is it like a lottery pool and you just hope to be chosen as the winner?

spin and go's are seductive, because you can double your investiment in a few minutes.
But it can be the fall of your bankroll too.
I prefer to avoid this addicting kind of game.

Spin or go? The best strategy is to not play them …if you are serious about learning poker anyway. They are very much aimed at recreational players and full of gamble and variance. pokerstars seems to be turning into a bingo hall recently, even Team Pro Vicky Coren has decided to leave because of the imminent addition of casino games and her fear of it leading to dangerous and irresponsible gambling. Don’t play them. It’s a ridiculous mishmash of bandit machine meets hyper poker. If you do play them, make sure your bankroll and sanity can accommodate the crazy swings it brings.

From heaven to hell in minutes. It's great playing style, but if you have a small cash, avoid.

Either you win fast or lose fast.

Bad with limited BR like me but okay with much money.

spin sng is buy-in X 3 to be cost, and pokerstar give player a chance to win 1~1000 multiple in a short time.

Most of it is buy-in X 2 to pay, and pokerstar gain buy-in X 1 to calculate the multiple prize.
