PokerStars breaks records for the 2nd week in a row

pokerstars’ Sunday Million is riding high right now after a second successive weekend of breaking records.

Is this a surprise to anyone, considering the times we live in right now?

It doesn't surprise me. More and more, we are more connected to virtual networks. The trend is to increase more. As the sub-dense countries, the people are taken over by technology, the number of people in the connected world will increase. Despite this, I do not find these changes very interesting. I like a more natural world, where people are present!

The virus played a role for online games. The expanded prize pool is good, but now people are able to sit at home and relax without worries.

With more players being drawn in I'm sure the more experienced players will be the richer for it.

I figured there would be an increase, but not this one taking into account the fall of recent times. I hope the room work to maintain this increase.

and ofc russians, not all I don't want to offend no one but theres lots of them with bot still. it was one player who had 5M chips leader, 2nd place not even 1M, right before top 600 on the 90k players tournament Sunday million who was caught with bot. By the time admins was checked him he dropped to 50k in 20 mins - true story.

Numbers just like the old days (pre Black Friday )

Well, the regular casinos and poker rooms are closed so people will play online more.

This is currently a projected event. This virus has driven everyone home and now almost everyone spends most of their free time online. The main thing is not to lose, but to play for your own pleasure. Good luck to all players.

PokerStars is breaking records for the second week in a row but they will never catch up with coronavirus which is breaking all records for the fifth month in a row.

people dont have anything else to do , they just sit in the house and play with their money

Its not a surprise.. Congratulations to pokerstars for the great software and good tournaments !! Poker is a sport that grows every day, pokerstars the biggest poker house, and now unfortunately most of us are locked up at home .. the result of that are the consecutive records! I hope they get excited and put on more free and attractive tournaments to celebrate this good time for them! and that poker grows even more !! [emoji453][emoji41]

Things seemingly go better for PokerStars , as well as for most other poker rooms . People , being locked in their homes , due to this corona virus isolation , play more poker or casino . Some start now to play poker . Tournaments' guarantees exceed far more the initial amount and prizepool , even smaller on demand tournaments have more profits , in not so rush hours . Poker rooms should show first of all responsibility in handling this situation , and second try to take advantage to increase overally the number of players , the love for this game .

If things get even worse with total restrict of movement , better results for poker tournament pools will come , as people try to have some fun these hard times . Let's see if this increase in players' numbers and interest , will have permanent positive results for online poker after this crisis ends , which will be very good for everyone




EDIT : Now I see the prizepool of 5/4/20 Suday Millkion , that started yesterday , has exceeded $3.000.000 , 3 million dollars , OMG !!! With buy in only $109 !!!!!!!!!

Last Sunday it was $2.31M , now it's $3.13M !!!!!!!!!!
Will it be even higher next Sunday ??? Will it reach $4M ???
Will PokerStars guarantees $2.5M for next Sunday's Sunday Million tournament , or even $3m ???? ...........!!!!!!!!

That's the best proof that things go better for online poker , just what poker operators needed these days , especially PokerStars . Poker rooms have increased profits , regs have more odds to win more vs much more fish or with the better prizepools and tournaments everywhere , many people can have fun and spend their time in their homes playing their favorite games trying to have a big hit and win at the same time $$$$$$$$$ .
