Pokerstars banned in Serbia?!

I just received this email from PS support:
Following a recent internal review, we have prohibited access to our platforms from your region, effective September 10, 2020.

Please rest assured that your account balance remains safe and secure, and available to withdraw at any time.

All entries to poker tournaments that have yet to start have been refunded, any outstanding sports bets have been voided and stakes refunded, and all non-promotional tickets have been converted into cash and added to your balance.

Please contact support for more information.

Its pretty common, that poker sites withdraw from certain markets due to either local legislation or business reasons. Not much to do about it other than withdraw your funds and find somewhere else to play

I have an interesting thought seen as Serbia is banned from PS. I wonder if South Africa will be able to play for real money again. South Africa was banned for a few years ago now.

Ýeah, I know it is "common" but I have been playing on PS for the last 10+ years. I do not want to change it. Very sad day for me

We all used to play on stars, but we are not first country who is banned. Yes, a lot of games make them good room. But, if I survived ban from partypoker I will survive this too.
We will move somewhere else.

I have just received a message in the pokerstars lobby "we no longer offer our products in your region" and I am sent to withdraw all of my funds...

OMG ! I playd last night KO and now i cant play ! WOot

Hate to hear it. Already dealt with this here in the US years ago. Sucks to wake up and find that your favorite poker site has been taken from you.

That is very unfortunate

It sucks to see any countries getting banned.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Hate this for you guys - but if you can still play at any other sites you have it better off than we do in the US - so at least feel some relief at that.

I know it still hurts though.

This is a most mystifying post. Are there six or seven steps in logic that you are leaving out?

It is a very sad day, I don't believe any country should be banned from playing poker. I just think its crazy.

but why would they leave serbia? local legislations? never heard of a new gambling law in serbia but at the same time i dont hear too much from there in general anyway so no wounder i probably missed the news about it.

There is no new law regarding gambling since sep. 2019. It's really weird why they decided to do this. Hope they come back after a year...

I have been searching for months to somehow deposit money into stars with no luck. :/

Can you please tell me on which site(now that starts is no more) to play and how to deposit? I mean which banks, which cards. Last month I succeded with MTS bank on starts but that was banned fast.

This really hurt me. Not that i just played poker there, i also made a tons of bets at their sports site.
I still can't acccept that this actually happened..so surprising..you just get e-mail with this message and "it starts today", no more pokerstars for you. Like a nightmare.

Can you guys please suggest some other poker room, cause i don't have any idea..
