on my right, I never use any tool aid.
I always read and watch videos to learn more about poker and improve my game.
Extra tools but never used so I do not affect these changes and sorry for those who use

"Under the new conditions set by Party, all tracking software and HUDs are out, as are seating scripts, which enable players to avoid regs and victimize weaker players. Following the recent lead of Full Tilt, table selection will also be a thing of the past."

So they're basically curtailing stats-tracking and "bum-hunting". I can see how a rec is unfairly targeted. But I think since HUDs are so widely used, it seems better to just include one in the poker client (like Carbon, I think?), and make it so a rec can see who is using it and who is not; then they have the option to use it also.

Maybe, but a weaker player is as much a victim of ignorance and inexperience. Believe me, I know. ;)

Many sites do this now,

Microgaming: allows screen name change and other measures
Party: no HUDs and tracking tools, global cash game waiting list etc.
Full Tilt: no more table selection, friendlier VIP Programm
unibet: No tracking and HUD Software
...
...

and that´s good!

to be honest i think hud's should be banned although they are useful, and i have used one.

I do on the other hand think that stats programs like hm2 but without the hud would be a perfectly acceptable analysis tool.

people who want to make more money at poker should be forced to move up stakes, and train themselves to compete with better through increased experience at studying what's going on at the table, rather than mass multitable, domnating at entry level stakes. It's what's made the poker ecology so messed up, and so few new players are sticking to the game, because they rarely get to play against other new players, and bink the occasional big pot to keep them hooked.

PokerStars does everything to ensure that only fish feel comfortable. Regulars will remain offended again.

Perfectly happy with this. The HUD makes every player who uses it like a robot.

Take away the software and let the player actually play the game with their own skill!
