As much as I love to hate this guy there's a reason he's consistently at the top. Poker isn't a physically demanding sport like football or basketball where there is a shelf life on a player because they cant physically compete anymore. The only thing that can stop someone from continuing to compete is losing their will to play.

No I personally believe his style of play is being influenced by all these different avenues of strategy and Is kinda losing his natural bluff finesse and is being replaced by top theory.theory can work 80% of the time but his bluff finesse worked 100% for a long time. I wish he was here to comment on this topic himself.

I think Phil needs some good poker skills, as far as I remember, he didn’t play for a long time, but Phil didn’t lose his grip, plays as well as before

Yes he WILL win another bracelet.

"Honey! Do you see what they are calling me with? I trap and they call and they get lucky!"

Phil is right about all that stuff....and eventually he will persevere through an entire bracelet event and win it again.

Good luck Phil !

I think he will probably win another, as much as everyone loves to hate him(including me sometimes) he does put in the time playing and has had some decent success in the WSOP events so far. I think as long as he keeps playing he will win another bracelet.

I think Poker Brat had a bad time, losing 4 times against Hellmuth. I think it can not be called another way, bad luck.

He has sooooo much experience and yet isn't that old (like Brunson e.g.)
I am sure we will see many more videos on YT of him tilting and more than one bracelet, as it is very important to him (btw, he has already 15 bracelets as far as I'm informed)

I think so, he's a great player, see you play is like watching a poker movie Old West, I remember when I started playing poker, was among the first players who saw him play.
He is old school of poker, as Stu Ungar, Cris Ferbuson, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan. etc.:p

I think he can do it

He's made it this far. I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that he can get another one. In any case, I like watching him play.

Poker needs personalities, not just math whizzes who can calculate the probabilities down to the nearest thousandth. Without whiners like Phil, we could not fully appreciate players like Erik Seidel in poker. Phil may hang around long enough to get another bracelet...like him or hate him, he is fun to watch.

Phil Hellmuth remains a big name in poker, but today his understanding of the game is lagging behind. His self-control at the same time remains at the same level. With such data, he can still even go far enough in some tournaments, but he cannot see another bracelet and that is a fact. Cash - yes! WSOP - no!

When I first saw Phil on Youtube, I hated him. But after a while, I grew to be his fan:))
Congrats to him on being in the game for so many years, and for being able to achieve great results as well. Hope to see more of his rants on Youtube. He is probably the player I would like to play live against the most.

That's why I choose to play poker cause it's mentally and you can play it as long as you want.
