PartyPoker is scrapping Satellite tickets for Tournament Dollars

Partypoker is introducing Tournament Dollars in a bid to offer more flexibility for MTT players. Beginning October 27, players will win Tournament Dollars. These credits can be used to take part in any MTT, assuming the player has enough T$ to cover the buy-in.

Great news while I enjoy satellites not everybody enjoys being restricted in what games they can play.
More choices always better for people am sure this is a good move by partypoker.

Excellent news from party poker.Of course, I will play those satellites.I can´t wait any longer.

So any satellites you win a seat whether its 33, 55, 109 dollars etc will automatically get you tournament dollars?

partypoker has lately been delighting its players with its changes
do a lot to attract poker people into their ranks[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

I am so happy to hear this. I hate the tickets. In addition to the changing, sometimes false expiration dates, my ROI on tickets won in CC freerolls has been -100% over the last nine or ten months. :elefant:

i was hoping so badly this gonna happen one day and ofc it happens now when my country is out lol, joke aside nice improvement for Party poker players, it's a good decision and it will more than definitely attract more players

Maybe I am missing something, but what is even the point in playing a satellite, if you essentially win cash? Why not just play a small buyin tournament, and if you cash, you can use the money to play a bigger one?

I think that this is good news. Lets hope other Poker rooms follow suit.

Return to the former model if I remember correctly.

Aggregate solution and a large selection of games for tournament dollars. It is better than a limitation with one ticket for a certain tournament. Party improves its marketing policy.:captain:

They should make more various satellites.Waiting for that.

And they now provide a possibility to download hand histories, should have done this from the beginning though, but still something

Altough PS was a few years ahead of them

It so happened that I had two tickets for a particular tournament on Saturday. I assumed that one ticket would burn. On Sunday I see that this ticket was transferred to tournament money. This is good, because in another case, the ticket would simply be lost.

It is so much easier to turn T$ into cash than satty tickets,,,, :star: TY Party!

That's right, it's very good for the players. You can see that the poker room respects its players. Since I took over the PS Amaya many players went to the PP, and you can see that the trend persists.

Am I missing something?

As far as the tourneys that I play, all prizes are still tickets. There are a number of T$ tourneys in the lobby, but they seem to have eliminated PartyPoker Live Dollar tournaments. What tourneys have been changed to T$?

Well because satellite strategy is much different from regular tournament play.
And.. it's the same as any satellites but it allows the player to pick & choose what they'd like to play in.
