It's not as cut and dry as that unfortunately. You will undoubtedly come across less skilled players at other sites than pokerstars however there sheer volume of games at most times usually outweighs this. I wouldn't say you can just say 888 is easier to make money, you need a deeper understand of your opponents and that will come with experience.

I strictly play on pokerstars for the following reasons:

Games going 24 /7
Best software available
Most traffic (therefore more bad players but also more regs)

Where do you play?

None

No other site "holds a candle" to PokerStars.

Just hoping that USA will be allowed to play on PS at some point.

Sites I know:

1. Party Poker is one of the biggest poker brands in the world in terms of number of players
2. full tilt poker is proud to say that it is more than a place where a particular player can play poker online
3. In 888 poker a user meets a variety of players and each with its own style, from amateurs to the most skilled and professional.
4. Bet 365 likes to provide new players with a lot of fun and guarantees the possibility of constant training.

Been playing only on PS.
Its the sheer number of players, which ensures that there are games going on of every kind, 24x7 , & thats why I love playing here.

Also the software is fast & clean.

Among the best tournaments to make some amount of sure shot money is the $250 Jackpot Freeroll, and it only costs $ 0.01

Being in the US SUX for on-line Poker. There aren't many choices, and 'Stars is out of the question unless you move to New Jersey. That leaves basically Carbon and ignition for me, and I'm not that fond of Ignition, so it's mostly Carbon for me. I've done pretty good there: started in April, 2015 with a $100 deposit and haven't looked back since.

888 and Party Poker are two pretty good alternatives to Stars.

Definitely try Americas Cardroom. I played on Pokerstars for years before they were shut down and by far this is the best one I've played on in the states. the platform is a tad bit different but it is awesome.

The League dealer software generates constantly big opposing hands and for that reason I play few cash hold'em games
there.
If you want to get a feel for what I'm saying join the Cardschat League, see for yourself, and then decide if you want to use your money on poker stars.
Personally I'm a big fan of ACR, Americas Cardroom.

This you should ask the organizers of this particular tournament, as to why they have named it a Freeroll. I mentioned its among the best TOURNAMENTS(not freeroll) to make sure shot money. I never said it s a Freeroll. It costs $0.01. If however its named as a freeroll, what do I care for it...Sherlock.
