I can only imagine how those people who actually have some kind of gambling addiction are coping right now? Many live play establishments are closed, and sports betting without sports is non-existent. There are probably still some addicted individuals who have so far stayed away from online casinos. Hopefully some of them will find this cold turkey treatment beneficial.

It's logical . Most people have tried sometime in their life poker game , for fun or sth more , with friends or family . So these days of isolation due to this outbreak , women or men , new players or not , have the opportunity to play online to win money and have some fun at the same time . Live events are postponed , cancelled or being played in online sites , so online poker the only option for great profits !!!!. Tourneys have bigger prizepools , the opportunities are greater and better , especially the better player you are the more probable to have great successes by playing poker , a game of skill , far better and besed on skill than casino kind of luck games . Ofcourse casino games players can also play their favourite casino games in online sites that offer poker as well , such as partypoker/Bwin, PokerStars , ACR , 888poker , etc .

I'm sure it is. I wound up here after being idle for a few weeks. I'd thought about trying to figure out some online poker stuff last year. Once I had lots of time on my hands I stumbled upon ACR and joined. That lead me to poker chat rooms. Everything is easier to figure out then I thought it would be, mostly, still haven't attempted mastering bitcoin.

Quite nice actually having a game to play while under lock down.

It is normal, people do not very much leave the homes, which encourages them to choose the online platform

ACR was experiencing issues last night as well. I was about to play an On-Demand game and it was cancelled. Joe Ingram has been complaining about this very issue on ACR on Twitter lately.

The important thing now is to try to spend as little as possible and if you can play from time to time in order to generate income, we are going through a difficult time, but we have faith that times will be better.

I'm concerned at the number of gambling ads being shown on TV here. It's clear that the government gets a lot of money from gambling companies. In the current situation a lot of people will be playing with money they can't afford. There will be a massive cost when this crisis is over. You can be certain the gambling firms will be making big gains from this situation.

Having said that, if there was a boom like there was at the turn of the century, you would expect more incentives like bigger freerolls and more of them. I'm not seeing that.

I'm here because of Coronavirus - we can't do our usual home games, so we moved it online.

I do have experience in online, but not for many years. Will be many others too.

888 Poker, on the contrary, feels like it 's closing. The new client is worse than the old client, and the free club tournaments have been removed. Bonuses will now be available only after the deposit runs out. There 's no point playing for new customers anymore.

I dont think, 888 Poker is closing, but it does seem like, they are redesigning or cutting back on their reward programs.

Apparently they have had some technical issues due to the abrupt increase in the number of people playing online poker. In that case it does make sense to halt freerolls, so that paying customers can have a better playing experience ;)

Thought about it, too, but you still have to take into account the fall in poker income for 2019. Therefore, they will close the halava with their best efforts. And that 's not all.

Emailed 888 2 days ago about my account still no answer . Tried the online form get an error
I understand the current climate but I would expect at least an automated response from a business ..

No matter how much you were opposed to playing online before the pandemic, I would probably bet that most, if not all of those players have changed their minds. If you are a player that loves to play poker then I cannot believe that you are not playing online now with all the live games suspended.
