A policy change by the Nevada Gaming Control Board will now require table game players to wear face masks inside Las Vegas casinos.

Would this latest policy change encourage you to visit a casino?

NGCB Now Requiring Face Masks at Table Games

How will everyone eat at the tables now..(and gross you out)? As long as I can slip a straw somewhere around or through the mask into my Caesar in my right hand and my Red Bull in my left I'll go. (In a bar my tab would easily run into the hundreds..not that I have a drinking problem or am hooked on energy drinks!!)

Actually what this means is no smoking.

And - also typically it means no food service at the poker table.

Does it encourage me to visit a casino? Not really.

Gila River in Arizona just closed its casinos again after the unfortunate death of an employee.

Be well !

As a player who is deaf/hard of hearing, masks are a no go for me (communication barrier). I’ll wait until restrictions are lifted

Each country have to give they way, in my we are stil on quarentine, some states could get out of homes since they use masks, so if you not adapdate you will do nothing.

I am so disgusted by this "nonsense". There is nothing, no data, only opinions of medical people who have been wrong about everything. NO, I will not wear a mask. In fact, I have actually put enough money aside to be able to go out to Vegas this year. Those plans have been burned.

not really because I think it's not always the right time to find yourself confined in a room with several hundred other people. without forgetting that it is enough to touch the same cards as another person who has been contaminated to end up in the hospital.

taken from the article in the first paragraph-

There is one exception to the rule, however: if barriers are in place, face coverings aren’t required. This rule also applies to poker.

I'm not so sure that the medical people have been wrong about everything (this is a new one on them too but they definitely know more about diseases that spread than the average person. Covid-19 is about the most contagious that we have ever seen) but there are some things they are erring on the side of caution and this is one of them. What's the issue with wearing a mask during these times? It won't last forever, will it? I don't understand. In my opinion, it is very evident that this virus is not done with us and it has been suggested to take every precaution to try to combat the virus among us.

I personally do not see a single thing wrong with wearing a mask at a poker table, even if there are barriers in place. I'm not that vain to cover my nose and mouth at the very least even though I don't have any intention whatsoever to attend any live poker for a long while. I do not get sick that easy but I wouldn't be itching to find out if this could make me sick or not. To me, it's not paranoia but it's just common sense. I have way too much to live for.

My comments are not meant to be offensive in any way but it is my opinion.
