Just seen this today. It's a story about Vegas casinos hooking up with online poker sites.
Here's the link:

Fairly comprehensive article. Seemed fair until it ended with it's comment on Zynga: "With millions of free players, "it's very likely these people can be converted" to playing for real money, said one longtime offshore poker executive. "But do they want a headline saying some kid lost $10,000 playing poker on Facebook?"

Every bill requires age verification. Online betting on horse racing proves the technology exists. And there are other things that could be done even more stringent.

Can we prevent stupid parents from giving their kids access? Probably not, but that's not my problem, it's theirs.

so many stories

I think it just gets peoples hopes up for nothing, when the president and congress steps up and says ok were going to legalize this, then I will get happy. If the states were going to legalize it, it would have been done already.

Ah sounds like the dying town of Vegas is trying new avenues to get peoples money. Again i see desperation with city and state level budgets.
