This is the same with Arkansas. We have strip clubs but no casino. There's still dry counties too. They just passed a law allowing the county next to mine to allow alcohol sales on Sunday. Before that people would just drive to Missouri or Oklahoma to get drinks on Sunday which was causing lost revenue for the state. The lottery was finally allowed here about 2 years ago, hopefully casinos will follow. It would be a smart move, especially since the closest casino is literally on the border of Arkansas/Oklahoma, and everyone just takes the short drive and gives that revenue to the Oklahoma side.
