I would invest in him. He is an outstanding poker player and any chance to get a piece of his action I would take that investment.

I would definitely stick with Negreanu in a Badugi or other mixed game tournament

Very cool of him and very smart. Three levels of stakes to give everyone interested a shot to invest. He is still one of the most entertaining players. I believe more people will pay attention to the smaller tournaments if he is playing as well.

Interesting PR move. And a good opportunity for people to want to sweat him at a relatively low price. If he can get folks to buy a piece, more power to him! (And to anyone who is selling action - markup or no!)
