Jake Cody New PokerStars Pro

UK Tournament pro Jake Cody has today been announced as the newest member of pokerstars Team Pro. Cody and PokerStars both announced the signing today on Twitter and Cody is already sporting his new PokerStars avatar style picture on Twitter.

Cody is currently in the Bahamas at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and will be looking to add a PCA title to his already impressive resume. Cody is one of only a handful of people to boast Poker's triple crown with wins at the EPT in Deauville, the WPT in London and a wsop bracelet from the $25k Heads-Up Championship in 2011.

The Rochdale native signed for PKR.com not long after that win but now not much more than a year later has signed for the biggest poker site in the world and joins a team that includes Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier and Vanessa Selbst.

Cody said today "Very very proud and excited to announce I'm the new PokerStars Team Pro!"

They must have signed him because I filled out a survey which asked which Team Pros we were aware of and I put him down.

Or perhaps my powers of prediction are really good.

He's a great player & I really love his demeanor on the tables & in interviews.

He's someone I'd hang out with on a daily basis.

His demeanor says it all & he deserves the title.

I've seen his tournament play in the WSOP $25k Heads-Up Championship in 2011 and I can say he deserves to be a PS Team Pro.
Now let's see him win some online tournaments cause in live he's proven his skills.
