This was announced by Ivan Demidov in his blog :( Over the last month is the third poker pro who leaves Team pokerstars.

Yep, he refused to renew the contract. There are two main reasons, he did not agree with the new policy PokerStars and he has his own business is not related to poker.

Ivan has long lost interest in poker. More and more I delved into space. The new policy PokerStars and probably leads to a reduction of these pro players.

His contract is up at the end of 2015.
By the way, he hasn't made a bigger score on the live happenings recently. When they said a bigger score they mean on a 6-figure score on live event.
The first and the last big score he did was in 2008 when he made 6.8 million and since then nothing.
Simply PokerStars no longer seen Ivan as someone who is worthy to extend the collaboration and sponsorship, and the new kids come.

Demidov didnt play poker seriously for almost 2 years, by the way he hadnt any resulsts and technically was not so good late time. He has another life interests and priorities today

so true.. many big names are not doing so good for pokerstars brand by winning big live anyway. so it s just pre excuse to not agree with pokerstars new changes to leave... when the contract ends , one has to leave anyway

Campaign PokerStars don't need professional players, they aim to famous people, athletes mainly for promoting poker. It's simple. And Ivan good luck in your future endeavors!

Ivan was a realy good player... but unfortunaly i had heard somebad news about him in one other forum they sad that something bad was happen in his live ... there was nothing more about it ... but my point is that may be he lost some friend or even worst a family guy ... that's why he stop plaing poker so offen... i dont know is it thrue or no ... may be it is all speculations... about his live and carier.
