Day 1 was great. Lots of folks happy just to play again. And playing really wide. With the free $20 for creating an account, it was an absolute give away. No lie, I'm +>500bb. (2NL) so far. I shed a tear when the packed it up for the night.

Not much running above 10NL and the overall traffic was light, but it wasn't well promoted and the website is not intuitive and a little tough to find. They're open 10 hours today, starting at 2pmEST, and full launch (24/7) tomorrow. Hopefully word spreads and the traffic builds.

If you're in PA, get on it. Feels like it's all you can eat right now. That can't too last long.

I don't know how many members we have from Pennsylvania, but do hope they see the 'news' updates that you have been posting pretty much since mid-summer. In time (like just about anything worthwhile and fun) there will be more activity. You might be right about the $20 boost, though - PokerStars has a good marketing team, and in my opinion, I don't see them pulling the plug on the freebie too soon. BUT, I have been known to be wrong, too! :)

There's always the possibility that it was a bit of run-good yesterday and I'll spew it all back, but it felt really soft.

Great news :) . I hope many US poker players come and play on this pokerroom now that it's back after many years , and I wish poker be legalized in all states soon enough .

First two test days went great! Very excited to be back in the online scene. I was not disappointed at all, the turnout was better than I expected for the soft launch... Didn't run as hot as Wired did, but I am still in the green thanks to that last timed 10$ MTT game, cashed 2nd in that. New game format to me, it was fun. Will be crossing my fingers for the full launch later this afternoon!

Hey guys ! So, I just created my PA PokerStars account (kowripper). It was a bit confusing since I already had a PokerStars account and I had to create a different one to use for PA (thank you federal government for making this process a LOT more difficult than it needs to be !!!). In any case, I kept getting an error message that the client could not verify my location. I went to the help chat and I was told that I need to turn on my Wi-Fi. Now, I'm on a desktop PC that doesn't have a Wi-Fi card, only a regular LAN card. The support person kept telling me that I must have a WiFi card. Is this really the case ? Why wouldn't I be able to use a much more reliable hard-wired connection ? That just seems silly to me.
