This is in the very early stages of even being brought up. There has been much more talk about the state not accepting any poker bill than accepting one.

I'm wondering if it's going to be just for Illinois residents only or Illinois and world wide. Can't imagine it being super popular if it's limited to just Illinois. Then again I know I'll be on there playing.

It says anyone living in the boundaries of the state so.......eck

It won't matter that you're from Illinois, you would just have to be in the borders of the state. You can play the Illinois lottery if you're from Wisconsin, but you can only buy the tickets in Illinois. You can play poker right now in Germany, because you're outside of the US, but if you go into the US, you won't be allowed online, just as someone who is from Germany and travels to the US won't be allowed online.

Illinois is so strapped for cash they are in a rush to pass a bill within the next two weeks. I expect it will be ill conceived and unworkable...

Me, a cynic????

New casino being built in Dayton in near future and Ohio legislators said they would never ever cave in. Desperation indeed.
