You mean the governments of the world actually damaged the industry with their initial attempts at taxing it?

LOL.

How about they just do a 2% tax on deposits that gets paid to the country of deposit's origin? I'd be down with that if I could play anywhere in the world. Plus, it'd be easily forgotten since it happens up-front rather than dealing with the moaning and groaning of calculating the tax on the withdrawal.

Regulation kills a lot of things...it's why gambling is relegated or booming in unlicensed markets.

People are highly awaiting U.S. regulation in the states. It is never going to be like it was during the boom, bonuses, rakeback, profits overall, are going to be a lot less.

I have no doubt our government will be able to screw up online poker..they should post a disclaimer as you enter a voting booth,

"Candidates are not required to have any common sense or knowledge of anything that affects the public. Vote at your own risk."
