He's down massive in online cash games according to the High Stakes DB. The problem with Gus is he constantly sits with players who are better than him at the online variant of the game.

Thankfully for Gus, he's won as much from live tournaments as he's lost online and is apparently a big winner in the Macau cash games and backgammon games.

He's play yesterday all day and took a profit of 100k+. Gus is a good player but sometimes plays what he is not very good and lost money.

You would think if he lives in monaco and can still afford the prices on food there etc...then i highly doubt no one knows a persons finances other than themselves dont you think?

A player like him has to bet $10,000 just to get his pulse going...

Gus Hansen Suffers Crushing $889k Defeat on Full Tilt

http://www.pokerlistings.com/gus-hansen-suffers-crushing-889k-defeat-on-full-tilt-22677
Gus Hansen added another staggering loss to his seemingly endless downward spiral on full tilt poker last night.
The Great Dane burned through $889,668 in 1,547 hands, according to highstakesdb.com.
Despite some positive work earlier this week Hansen is now down about $10 million since last fall and headed for one of the worst years of online poker ever recorded.
Hansen split his time between FLO8 and 2-7 Triple Draw but the highlight match was against arch-nemesis Kagome Kagome in $2,000/$4,000 2-7 TD.
Kagome Kagome Destroys Hansen for $599,000
The match took place at just one table but that was enough for German Kagome Kagome to utterly decimate Hansen for $599k.
The epic loss raises some very real questions about how much more Hansen’s bankroll can take.
Although Hansen was on an enormous heater worth more than $5 million prior to Black Friday in 2011, he’s lost that and more since FTP re-opened.
It was a bad day all around for Full Tilt Professionals as Viktor Blom dropped $113k. The major difference is that Blom is up over $3.5 million this year.

Gus never did handle tilt well

He also wins that back in live play all the time. I think he's lost like 30 million in a 90 day period before, but won 40 by the end of the year.

Hansen has got no chance against today's online players. He should retire from online poker definitely.

Love watching Gus play poker with the old crew. Wish they would bring back high stakes poker on tv. But Gus will bounce back.

It would be interesting to know the details of Gus's sponsorship deal with Full Tilt. I wonder whether he is expected to put in a certain number of hours online at the Full Tilt tables and whether he is playing exclusively with his own money.

At the very least, Gus's results should quell any suspicions that Full Tilt's RNG is rigged in favour of its sponsored pros.

I wonder if his book had anything to do with it? Maybe gave the other players a line into his thinking?

 Is that for real? It's unreal amount of money. I thought that Bloms few millions $$$ swings are crazy enough, but evidently I was wrong. Well, good luck Gus. I curious how this'll continue.

Gus Hansen has always played aggressive poker.

He'll win this all back by next year though.
