Groups from 13 states want U.S. to block Internet bets
Groups from Wisconsin, Kentucky, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, Ohio
, Missouri, Massachusetts
, Minnesota, Hawaii, Georgia and Tennessee have sent letters asking congress to block states from legalizing internet gambling.
Congress needs to hear from all of us! If you don't want to join http://www.cardschat.com/f13/fight-poker-rights-daily-action-plan-210591/index3.html#post1913155 then go to your congressmen's web sites and contact them or call them regularly. Or go to the PPA's web sites for emails and other ideas. http://theppa.org/takeaction/
If we don't get this done and the momentum dies, we are out of luck forever. The Republicans need to hear that we want poker removed from their anti-gambling expansion platform as well. They love to pretend they are for freedom and liberty and the constitution, but most of them really aren't.
