GGPoker has a SnapCam feature for PC's (so far)

With the implementation of the 'SnapCam' on GGPoker, is this good or bad for online poker? The article explains how it is used.

In general - neither, but maybe bad for GG? Who in their right mind would want to use this? The only good thing about it is that it can be turned off.

Agree 100%. Video has been tried in the past and never took off. Most people are notoriously shy. I hope I'm wrong, cuz personally I think it's cool, but I know I'm right.

Imagine Mike Matusow using this? LOL!!! Well, it's a good thing he's in Nevada and won't be leaving the United States anytime soon.

It adds a new wrinkle to poker, not something I'm going to ever use, but I see nothing wrong with poker rooms trying different things, because who knows what might stick. Remember the lipstick sized hole cams that people were probably arguing for and against pre-2003? I'm sure there were very passionate arguments made for and against it. Now look where we are.

So, I say go for it, it either will become a new regular feature, or it won't take off.
