That's an... interesting move, given that Dwan is American and therefore can't play on the site. Or did I miss something?

He's moved to Macau for his return to online poker. He's been living overseas more than at home since BF.

Hardly any pros live in the US full time anymore. Evidently PS has made it much easier to get an account there from out of the country. When this all first happened you had to jump through hoops to prove you actually reside out of the country - now you can be online in less than 2 days after hitting foreign soil.

I am excited that they signed these guys, hopefully it will bring back the high stakes heads up games that we used to see.

Ah, right. I knew a lot of them had set up in other countries (Phil Galfond to canada, for example), but I hadn't heard that Dwan had joined them or that Stars had made it that much easier.

I don't think that Isildur should represent any poker room. He's useless, he doesn't give interviews, doesn't show up on poker forums. He just plays like a crazy kid.

Looking forward to watching them play each other.
I really hope the software is the same as it was...
I miss that final table...

So when are you moving, Debi?

So is Isuldur1 considered a pro of PS ot FTP?

Blom and PS mutually agreed to not renew his pokerstars sponsorship in August. It may have just been in preparation for him to sign on at Full Tilt to give the relaunch a bit more publicity.

It seems like the headliners are the three being dubbed "The Professionals": Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan, and Victor Blom. I don't think anyone else has been publicly announced yet, though I would expect more of the old crew to follow soon.

I think the biggest question marks are guys like Ivey, Juanda, and Phil Gordon... who may have some issues with the brand the way things went leading up to and post-takedown.

If one rails any of the bigger MTT's on Stars (or a bunch of the sites nowadays) you're likely to see ALOT of players from Canada, mexico, Costa Rica, etc. (ie. the Sunday 500 or Super Tuesday). There are literally 100's of them (former 'US' players)

That makes sense do you know what other pros that use play on FTP as red pros will be back playing after the relaunch

It is going to be interesting to see how it all works out with the ambassadors especially Isuludur. It is hard not to like him but I have never been convinced by his ability.
