The most right statement is from Gabe Kaplan "he has the weakest hand but the biggest heart". An incredible demonstration of skill, not for nothing poker is an art, and it is a hand that will stay in history. In those times, doing 5Bet with AQo was EV +, nowadays you can consider “Durrrr” as a recreational one, it's amazing how times change.

Even back then, watching Eastgate play, he seemed out of his element against those guys. Even putting up $500k, it was probably a BIG shot for him to take, and I think if you have a regular playing that hand against Dwan, like Doyle, Eli, or Antonius, surely THEY wouldn't have folded 42 there, KNOWING how Dwan plays.
That was a masterful bluff, probably one of the best on High Stakes Poker.
Somebody asked me what my favourite hand is, and I said "The one that takes all your chips".
If I shove and you call, I'll show.
