My input.

That was pretty touching story. From crack dealer to wpt. Losing his chocolates and tuna. I have been to jail. playing tonk and casino. They both card games. Tonk is like rummy. Casino is like smear or eucher. I know what its like to play cards to pass time. I finally got out of the rat race too. Got a settlement. Hope that guy keeps winning. I guess 1500 to 2000 a month. He could bank it and get that. All equal right black man.

Yes prison tempers, teaches and corrects. And he used the time to the maximum possible, which would correct their mistakes. So much free time, many may envy to study poker. A good incentive!

What would you guys read for 15 years? For sure I would read some poker books, but it's crazy to think what you could learn/teach yourself over that amount of time.

Wow, that is a pretty incredible turn around for him. I guess we can call him one of the lucky ones. That is awesome he was able to turn that $500 into a poker career instead of going back into his old habits.

Maybe. But Hollywood will change too much of the story, add a bunch of shit just to sell tickets. And I think that it would take away some of the charm of the story. Plus, Hollywood can't make a decent poker movie to save their lives.
