Like it, but would only get one or two at most. Learned some lessons last year about speculating on worthless DN's (irrational exuberance), but also got lucky on one.

I am pleased at the new .insertnamehere domains. .poker makes sense. Hopefully it will not be filled with malicous buyers right from the begining

Don't think something changes. Big rooms will stay at old domains. To chase and restrict "*.poker" sites in some countries will be very easily now.

The 2+2 vs Dutch Boyd case ought to deter squatters (assuming they know about it, and the general risk of buying trademarked domain names).

What do you mean by censorship?

One upside to owning a .poker name I suppose is brand protection. A couple of downsides are the cost to re-register a .poker name each year will probably be at least twice that of a .com, and the .com variant of the name is more valuable because the com suffix is shorter and universal.

It might have been a big thing if it'd happened 4-5 years ago, now, not so much.
