It's cool seeing kidpoker playing on twitch and everything but play money? Play money is not real poker :D I would love to see him compete against some of these tough online players. Even if it was just at 1/2 or 2/5 No limit. Honestly I'm not sure Daniel could even beat 2/5 NL on pokerstars. The games are so tough nowadays and I don't think he plays much cash. But hey you never know. He is obv an amazing tourney player and poker player overall.

He is currently in Nevada - It was impossible for him to play real money on Pokerstars when he was streaming. He was also getting the hang of Twitch. He said that he is heading out to canada this weekend and I believe he is going to be playing for real money - Though he will be on a much longer delay.

Good thing about when he plays play money is he doesn't have to concentrate on the game and can do more of a Q&A. Without a delay in the stream as well. At least not a long delay.

Well, it would be interesting to sit at his table and watch his cards, even with couple of minutes delayed.

Well, it would be interesting to sit at his table and watch his cards, even with couple of minutes delayed.

Stream watchers (Jerks) will have an edge, even with a delay. Especially if Daniel Negreanu is commentating while he plays.

They'll be able to see what he had - Just imagine all those times you folded and thought - "If Only I knew what he had there!"

This is of course assuming when Daniel is streaming he is playing at a level where players will know what to do with the information Daniel would be giving.

Hopefully, players won't take advantage of it and will stay away from his stream.

Daniel, is so good for poker, he is so well liked/likable that him streaming and potentially attracting gamers who are non-poker players would be great for the game. Especially since the guy just randomly decides to hop on one night, play for play money and get 4k+ followers instantly.

Anyone else watch Daniel Negreanu on Twitch last night?

He played the Sunday Million on Stars with a 7 min delay, was getting trolled real hard in chat and lagging extremely bad (probably had something to do with the laptop's specs that he was playing and trying to stream on). I stopped following after the third time he lost the stream, and then to my amazement about 2 hours later (around 10pm et) he had like 3x the followers watching!

Naturally I had to pop in and see what was going on, maybe he cleaned up with some mods and it was actually watchable. When I got back on to watch it looked like he had figured everything out, not only was the video not lagging, but it was some of the most entertaining poker I've seen on twitch. He busted in the Sun Milly, but queued up a high stakes 6max horse game where he proceeded to win 50k in less than an hour, all while laying in his bed eating weird vegan snacks and laughing hysterically at how good he was at poker and how he should probably go pro hahaha.

It was a really good time, I just wondered if anyone else watched, I'm going to see if I can find the archived video or a screen grab on youtube of at least the horse footage.

I saw the first part when he was playing at the sunday million, too bad he was lagging too badly to keep streaming. I think he archived his win on the mixed games on twitch so you can find it there!

Yeah, I was watching too. Good thing he had these early lags sorted out. Then it was one hell of a show.

DNegs taking a piss while streaming $400/$800 mixed games was one of the best Twitch poker moments ever, on par with some of stickyrice1's early streams.

Barry Greenstein also streams on Twitch every Sunday and tells interesting stories about the past. It is a very under-rated stream, often goes unnoticed.

Negreanu is hilarious in this stream!

What's interesting to note from these twitch.tv streams is the relative ease with which these pro's play their hands. There's not a whole lot of hemming and hawing, and the strategy talk just rolls right off. This combination is certainly one off the big reasons that poker is so good on twitch.

We'll likely see more and more poker pro's make the jump to twitch in the months ahead. The lure of celebrity and money will tempt even the most reclusive poker stars to give it a try. This is good news to the recreational players who'll gain valuable insight into poker strategy and be able to watch their mentors take a leak...

dneg's twitch was interesting i watched some of the first one but didnt have time to watch much. then i tuned in yesterday i believe and saw him in bed playing poker on twitch. i saw that he was in bed and said no thank you and thought wtf does this guy have a problem. so i just chuckled and chalked it up to disrespect on his part but understandable. dont get me wrong i dont mind that hes on twitch but i feel he needs to respect his viewers better than this. i hope that his stream will get out of the bed at some point and actually make a effort at a good show. dont get me wrong im trying not to be a hater im looking forward to more shows but i dont get into watching a dude in bed lmao to each there own i guess. shoot maybe i should of covered up his face and bed that might of helped lmao!!(excuse me just a little trolling in the morning)

Waiting for stream made by russian-speaking players. Daniel is great poker player, but my english is not good to listen him online. Of cause, I understand what his talking about. But is more comfortable for me to listen Semin and Gorodetskiy - PokerStars official commentators.
