As players packed the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in search of a big prize and a wsop bracelet, those with an eye on some alternative value headed to the Venetian for the Las Vegas leg of the MSPT.

The first part of the article states it was $1100 buyin, if I am reading it right.
