While I think Lindgren is a scumbag for making people chase him down for money he quite obviously owes them, I have a hard time feeling sorry for most of these assclowns that made wagers with him and now are crying because they haven't been paid. If you read that whole 2p2 thread, you'll find Haralabos Voulgaris' post that basically explains that Lindgren has been a well known degenerate for years. He is also horrible at fantasy sports, he's pretty much dead money and doesn't even manage his teams. The vast majority of these guys that took side bets with him knew 100% going in that it was going to be a bitch to collect from him, but they took the action anyway because it was as close to a sure winner as you can get. It was a cycle year after year, Lindgren would bet, he'd lose, people would chase him down for 6 months, finally get paid and then the next year they'd do it all over again because it was basically the equivalent of a freeroll on a site you aren't sure will actually pay you. They basically dealt with his being a douchebag and never made it public because it was free money and they knew that eventually, after some major inconvenience and nagging, they'd always eventually get paid as long as they didn't trash his name publicly. Now that the Full Tilt gravy train has ended for Lindgren, these same guys are worried they might not actually get paid this time so they are taking it to the message boards in hopes that smearing his name through the mud will get results. Not defending Lindgren, none of this makes him any less of a piece of shit in my mind, but aside from a few people that might have taken action and legitimately not known he was a douche, it sounds like most of the people whining are just hypocrits that have been milking this cash cow all along and knew the risk of not being paid when they made the bets.
