Casino in Virginia??????

I heard on the local news today in Virginia Beach, there is some rumbling about opening a casino in Virginia. Not sure if there is anything to it.

It appears that if the State allows a casino in Virginia, they may legalize online poker.

Probable just wishful thinking on my part.

It would be interesting to seeing some gambling cruses out of Rudy inlet. I'm actually surprised that it hasn't happened yet.

I doubt it, I know Trump had proposed some casinos for NewportNews/Hampton a while back, but I don't think they got approved.
It would be nice if a casino did open in VA Beach though, as that is much closer than Maryland Live, which I still haven't ever been to.
They had those poker rooms in Portsmouth for a while, but they all got closed down .

Did you find any info about it online by any chance? All I could find was this article from last year http://wtkr.com/2017/02/03/rolling-the-dice-bringing-a-casino-to-hampton-roads/ , but it never seems to get any approval.

didnt see anything online....but man,wouldnt that be awesome,i am lucky enough to have many local friends who love the game.about 25 of us plays at 3 local n/l holdem cash games a week,we rotate at 3 diff places.we have been at it for 8 solid years now.i enjoy it so much,like day and night from online poker.been playing the online game for almost a year now.love me some poker!
