The Bellagio poker room has installed plexiglass dividers at their tables and have increased their maximum table numbers to 6 and making face masks optional. Would you feel measures taken are enough to play without a face mask?

I feel that these (masks, social distance) work a little bit to prevent to be infected.
These work to avoid the virus. However, they don´t work to remove the virus on the body.
The most important measures are to wash hands & gargle to flush it out..
Therefore, it´s better to put glasses & masks on faces, prepare wet tissues to wash hands & water to gargle on the table, & open the roof to clear the air.

Many measures aren´t effective.

It´s an option to remove shoes to enter the casinos.
Because the shoes move many virus.
It´s more effective to avoid the virus than not to shake hands.

Gargling water (or any mouthwash, for that matter)
Removal of shoes

Hmmmm. I can think of logistical nightmares with both options. You have a spit-Cup girl
wandering the floor for the garglers?

Shoe removal. I suppose you could work it like a coat check. I know I wouldn’t take the job. That room could get funky with all dem shoes.

Would anyone be ok (considering the corona) to remove their shoes and then walk through a massive high foot traffic area of a casino? Lol. Maybe if I wore a pair of freezer socks or maybe three pair of normal socks

I think Nevada has now stated that masks are again required everywhere.

It will be interesting to see stats on poker player health over the next month. It seems like a solid plan, let's see how it works.

Do they disinfect the cards after every deal?
How about the chips?
Do the dealers wear gloves?
If dealer coughs on the cards in the middle of dealing, is that a misdeal?

Although I do like the designated barriers. Any chip that passes the glass is officially part of the pot.

In response to this...I was looking for a video that might show how the poker room operates at this time, but so far nothing has shown up. I'd be interested to see how this works out, too!

i think its ridiculous to make live poker in this moment.

Personally, I feel the same, but I do get why some people want or need to play. And then there are some that likely don't need to be at a live poker table.

Yeah, I mean its nice that they are not breathing on each other, but they are still breathing on everything else and then essentially passing those things around to one another.

"OK folks, we have installed these plexiglass barriers for all of you players to keep you safe from breathing on each other. We have also cut out these "loopholes" so that you can pass your cards and chips around the table. Thanks for playing at Bellagio."

Everyone should play outside and have sprinklers to cool everyone. Maybe, everyone can stack their chips in a big bottle of hand sanitizer :)
