I for one hate late registration, it's extremely tolling, but for massive prize pools I'm sure it helps a ton for funding it.

Some time I think it’s a little over then what late registration should be a load to be but on the other hand sometimes I’m late getting in from work an it works out in favor.

The CEO of ACR should put his money where his money is and have a 12.5 million guaranteed tournament with no late registration.

He should first address retarded ACR software, constant disconnections and errors before poking others.

Meh....this is just advertising for both sites.

If you don't like a long registration structure then what do you care if others play it?

But I do agree with some posters that this is a great opportunity for ACR to host a tournament with a different structure.

Good luck !

ACR might be facing some bot problems , but that doesn't mean Phil Nagy can't voice his opinion on sth .
Maybe Phil is right on this one ......24 hours late registration , wow !!! And I thought 5-6 hours is way too long , lol :) But on the other hand it's a massive prizepool , they want to avoid an overlay in their guaranteed prize . So this 24 hour late registration , plus the 5 allowed reentries will help PokerStars succeed on this goal . I wait to play in a sat (with many guaranteed seats , not just 2 or 10 , which will be offered the last days I guess ) for this event , hoping for the best :)

So is Stars breaking up the tournament into two or three days then, to allow human players to rest?

Good luck if you decide to play it directly or via a sat :)

It does seem like a pretty ridiculously long late reg. period. On the plus side of this, if players are wanting to reg. at Level 19 (the start of day 2), they're only going to have 10bb's in their stack.
But the negative to this, you'll have CDarwin1, Moorman, etc. etc. etc. buying in 5x if needed. I'd prefer they do away with this.

Yes, I meant to say "put his money where his mouth is", but typed the word money twice, by mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi.That late reg may sound ridiculous but PokerStars is aware that´s the way the prizepool can be reached..Players with better . bankrolls will have an advantage with reentries

Phil Nagy loves being a mediatic, it is not surprising that he makes comments like these, when problems abound in the ACR poker room. It is not uncommon for PokerStars to leave the registry open for so long, whether it is good or bad, it is the professionals who give a more objective opinion. But when it comes to opinions, anyone is free to speak whatever they want.

Lol this nagy guy. Acr mtt's are known for having a very long late registration. Also he should first deliver us a smooth playing experience before bashing others and take on the famous bot problem. A bit of a tool this dude.

ACR has very long registration as it is. He should just focus his time on his own site instead of attacking other poker sites.
