should be exciting but how will it work do u have to be a NJ resident?

Yes, you have to be physically in NJ, they will be using geo-tracking I believe.

not a resident, but physically located within the state when playing

I don't see NJ and NV compacting any time soon. The reason being that NV desperately wants to control the market on a national scale, and NJ surely feels they, too, could fill that role. NV needs NJ players far more than NJ needs NV, and DE''s lottery model will likely be squeezed out unless other states follow that model.

If California becomes the next state to go live, they will be in the driver's seat going forward, as they have the population/player liquidity that all other state's will want to tap, and as such they would hold all the cards (pun intended lol).

That said, nobody is watching WA, but this is the sleeper state that is going to surprise everyone. I wrote an article about the tribes moving forward and how that might play in Olympia. Our legislative session begins in mid-January and only runs three months . . . we could have a bill in that session, and be the next state to pass poker legislation. WA, like CA, is dominated by tribal gaming, and you can be sure neither is interested in ceding anything to NV/NJ.

It's going to get interesting

Good news for everyone when NJ goes live.

The more congresscritters that see the revenue stream flowing, the more likely they will want their grimy hands on it for their state as well.

it says in the article one of the casinos in NJ is partnering with nevadas ultimate gaming
