You don't need to establish residence. Just need to be in the state; tourists will be welcome to play (at least under the rules of the regulation; poker rooms themselves could in theory add their own stipulations)

I'm not familiar with 888. What network does it use? Has anyone or does anyone play on 888?

It uses its own software on its own network. Of course the Nevada site will be separate from this. The software is basic but i kind of like it, has a good feel to it.

888 is the old pacific poker and is one of better poker rooms around imo.
Its obvs no where near pokerstars(no one is) but its a not so distant second along with the ipoker network.
Cant wait for some US fishes to return :D

When it launches in Nevada, it will be a separate network/player pool. If you playing on 888poker.com you won't be affected in any way when it launches.
