I'm surprised that they don't have any unlimited reentries until X level tournaments. I guess all of the backlash has curbed them from doing those at the WSOP.

Yes, this has confused me somewhat also.

These 10K events (but for the main) will be entered by pros and I can't see them being happy with so many freeze outs. I think one and all want restrictions on lower buy in events but how many were of these 10K tourneys were freezeout events before 2020?

I think it's fair for everyone that the tournaments are more coming back to freezeout versions.
