I have been looking into some free programs to utilize while playing poker, note-taking programs and equivalency programs but I was wondering what everyone else uses? Any suggestions would be appreciated

I follow Jason Somerville on Twitch and Twitter which is free and helps my game. He frequently uses the equity calculator at http://www.propokertools.com/simulations during his games, but I'm not sure whether Cardschat has a similar calculator or not.

Also big fan of J-Carver: go to youtube and type in 'Run it up', really funny and useful for micro stakes cashgames & sng's!

I use equilab and flopzilla quite a bit but mainly I use excel spreadsheets I've created and programmed strategies into. I then import my hand histories and get analysis based on the strategies I'm currently working on

I use FPDB as a HUD. It's not as fancy as pokertracker or holdem manager but it's free so it works for now.

I just tried this HUD out, and for something that is free it's pretty awesome! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a free HUD, thanks for the suggestion.

PokerStove is not a HUD software but I would still recommend checking it out. Gives you a good idea of your equity against a certain range and works with any poker site.

this ^

I highly recommend using it a bunch when you're reviewing HH's... ie. calling off allins, etc. etc. The more you mess around with it, the more things will become engrained in your mind & will become a bit more automatic.

Optimum Nutrition, OH you mean poker supplements haha.

I use Equilab and some push bot charts. I use Carbon's free HUD. I will probably eventually buy PT4 or HM2 if I start to play other poker sites, but for now Carbon's free HUD is way more than enough for me currently.
