We sugest you make the decision for yourself by downloading the free trials for PokerTracker and Holdem Manager 2, and then chose the tool which best fits your workflow needs. Both of our applications have free trials, this empowers you to make the decision that is best for you.

I've been a PT user since the original version. I tried HEM2... went back to PT3. :)

Using PT4 here. I was debating trying HM2 and comparing Leakbuster to LeakTracker, but I don't think HM2 supports Blackchip Poker, which is one of my primary sites now... and PT4 works like a champ.

HM2 now supports Black Chip Poker with our latest release.

PT3, and have never been close to wanting more. Hell I doubt if I'm using 10% of what is there.

We are no longer providing updates to remain compatible with poker site changes in PokerTracker 3, we highly sugest you make the switch to PT4 at your convenience to assure that you will not someday experience a lack of functionality during import. The update price is very low, we priced it this way to encourage PT3 switchers to move as quickly as possible because we want our users to have a positive experience.... given time with PT3, that experience will not be ideal anymore depending on the site and game that you play. You can install the 30 day trial to give PT4 a spin without affecting your existing PT3 database. Of course your free to stay with PT3 if you wish to, but we don't advise this.

I can relate. It took me many hours to configure. I had to go on quests to to other web sites to get stuff and kept running into barriers. It was like a frustrating role playing video game. But I think it was worth it.

Anyone still using HEM1, I just got back to playing poker after leaving the US and it doesn't seem to import from FTP anymore? Should I just suck it up and buy HEM2 or PT4, are they much better, or does anyone know the fix (support there doesn't seem to help)?

I use HEM1. Looking at their forum, doesn't look like it's fixed yet.

I use HEM1. Looking at their forum, doesn't look like it's fixed yet.

Full Tilt changed their hand history format (and other things) in May. Cash games should work fine if you update to the latest forum build. Some of the tournament issues are fixed but I am not sure if/when the remaining tournament issues at FTP with HM1 will be resolved.
