I am currently using PT3 60 day free trial but it runs out in few weeks. Is it the best or is holdem manager better. What r main differences? Or is there another program better maybe. I play on full tilt and pokerstars and I want something that is allowed on both sites.

Most of the CC regulars currently prefer HEM, but there isn`t a great difference and either one is acceptable.

Although i am quite good at multi-tabling, I just wonder why it took me over 2 years to discover these external poker programs... just mind boggling I'd say... Off to use the trials. Thnx :D

They're both really close right now but when both were new PT3 had lots of problems that made people switch to HEM. Most just never came back. Again try both, go with your preference. You can't go wrong with either these days imo.

I have PT3 but I thought you could use the Hud with Full Tilt but not poker stars.

Have I just got this wrong then?

This. The original release of PT3 was a complete mess and the development team took ages fixing the bugs, while HEM was doing a great job. All the regs switched to HEM during that PT3 mess and most never looked back.

Couldn't really say which one is best now since I never looked back since moving to HEM... :D

Yes. You can use the HUD at either site plus quite a few more.

I agree. This is mind boggling.

As stated, its really a preference thing.
I got HEM cheaper so I preffered to save $$.

I still got like 3 weeks on PT3 trial nd haven't really notice any big problems. Form what I seen on others huds it looks like hem is like more colorful or something. Is that true or just how I looked at it?

The HEM hud is highly adjustable for font size, colour, etc., so it can be very colourful if that is your preference.

I just started the HeM trial.. One main issue with it is that the HUD stats always get scatered around when a new player arrives or leaves a game... Maybe its just the trial version but I'm not sure. Still havn't figured it out all the way yet. Also the table ninja App they have is crazy and confusing, but it takes a little reading to understand. Gonna try the PT3 aswell afterwards. I just wish the damn table ninja didnt cost $60 for PokerStarts and another for Fulltilt, Plus the $90 for HEM, plus the other Apps for HEM cost more... Man, I need to up my bankroll for this stuff to make it worth it with out spending money from my regular job. :O

Not if you configure it right.

The only real difference I see between the two is the small stakes versions. The HEM small stakes version goes up a level or two higher than the PT3 small stakes version. I believe both offer the upgrade to full for only the difference between small and full.
