Pokertracker3 and holdem manager are very good and both provide you with a trial phase to test them.

Definately worth their money.

HEM or PT for sure. Just check out the free trial on both and see which you prefer. I believe both are coming out with a new version soon though so you might want to check into that before purchasing.

I've used both of them. PT3 allows a long trial period as to hem only like 2 weeks (I think.) So if you haven't used one before, try pt3 to get used to the stats etc. Although, when you are ready to buy one, I would have to say go with hem. They constantly are updating and trying to improve the software to deal with the actual poker sites sometimes constant updates. Their support is awesome.

yeah get the free trials for both. and HEM for the win, imo. I actually got it free by earning points at a poker site linked to HEM

Is there any point in having HEM or PT
if you only play micro limits.
At what stakes do these trackers become 'essential' for sng's.
$10 and above or even $5 and above.
just curious

Holdem Manager with the Leak Buster App is the nuts. I might switch to PT3 if they had Leak Buster, but currently it's not available. Also, PT4 and HM2 are coming out soon, so you may want to read about those before choosing one.
