re: Poker & Using prohibited poker software on a second computer?
Not to add fuel to the fire, but no, the poker site
software cannot search other computers on your network to see if they have prohibited software on them, anyone that knows anything about networking would realize that this is asinine. The only ways that anything to do with your IP address or personal network would come into play would be if you had two computers both trying to be logged in to different accounts at the same time and trying to play the same table.
Regardless of that, if you, or your "friend", are looking into using prohibited software, then you're more than likely just going to lose all of your money faster than if you just learned for real and played like a fish. None of those programs really show you enough substance to win alone without first knowing how to use the information, and the bot programs are all programmed to spew terribly by default, if that's what you or your "friend" is looking at.
