Tip to review your hands from hive poker network in pokertracker4

hello everybody,

for those who want to review their hands , go into the history:
C: \ Users \ user \ AppData \ Roaming \ YachtingPoker \ HandHistoryNG \ "My name" \ 2014-08

open a file with a text editor, replace all the "Hive Poker" by "pokerstars"

Go pt4 and insert the path in the configuration of the network pokerstars:
C: \ Users \ user \ AppData \ Roaming \ YachtingPoker \ HandHistoryNG \ "My name" \

import your hands, and good review ...

this trick should work on all rooms at the hive networks:
BuzzPoker.com (Hive)
HivePoker.com
IrishEyesPoker.com
PlanetWin365Poker.com
TerminalPoker.com (Hive)
YachtingPoker.com

this trick should work with hem2 and freepokerdb

We do not support HIVE Poker Network, but it is true that the Hive hand history format is similar to PokerStars - but it is not exactly the same and some data may be imported that is incorrect. Additionally if you have a hand number on Hive and a matching hand number in PokerStars, this may cause problems for you. We advise using a dedicated database if you intent to import your HIVE hands without our support, this way you can minimise the potential damage.

thank you for the advice,

actually there are somme errors (wrong size pot), you have planned to support this network? (Some sell an App to use this network with your tracker )

As explained in our prior post in this thread, the network is not supported... any errors you found cannot be compensated for, since we do not support this network.

Hive has to contact PokerTracker and/or Holdem Manager to request that we support their network. We cannot support their without the network's explicit request via traditional business channels.


Some sell an app to use this network with your tracker

We are not aware of any third party Apps that allow HIVE to be supported.

We do not support this network. You will need to buy/use a 3rd party app but we can not recommend any of them as we are not affiliated with them in any way. I think poker planer might work with this network and there is another software called starlive by kingshands. Poker Planer has a thread in our 3rd party forum. Kingshands does not but can be found with a google search.

As explained above, the network must request our support through normal business channels. A support rep for a skin on a forum does not qualify. We have however asked the rep for Yaghting Poker to have HIVE management contact us via email.

The question was in response to PokerTracker, we are not aware of any third party apps that support conversion - PokerTracker has discouraged the use of third party converters in the past but there is always a possibility that our future policies may change now that we are a unified company. Time will tell.

i thought one of the touted benefits of the merger was a unified support so that diverging policies for HEM and PT4 makes no sense if you say to hem customers yeah we know this and to pt customers , no we can't tell you about that.

It was a merger of the two companies that own PokerTracker and Holdem Manager, the applications themselves were not merged. HM2 and PT4 will continue to go down different paths with their own unique workflows, they will continue to compete with one another - albeit in a very friendly way. The staff of PokerTracker and Holdem Manager have been friendly for a long time, the major difference now that the merger is complete is that they are owned by the same investors and some behind the scenes technologies will eventually be shared. This is no different from the consolidation of a beverage company or a tobacco company, they continue each unique product line and the products remain autonomous - thats the path our brands will take as well.

Yes, very similar. Competition means players have choice... we want to continue to encourage choice.
