If you get tracking software like HEM or PT3 it will show you your all-in EV. That will tell you if you're getting lucky or not (more or less). It doesn't necessarily point out all of the coinflips, but it will tell you how much you were supposed to win out of your all-in situations.

There is an all-in EV line for SNGs....but I don't know exactly how it works. I just know that when you go all-in and you lose the EV line will be above your actual line, because technically even if you have 27 up against AA you're expected to win every once in a while.

Losing 6 out of 8 is nothing. I lost 15 out of 15 recently. Why is there so many posts where the answer is simply hem or pt

If you have PT3 you can use a add-on called-holdemluck. Just go to PT3 forums on there web site for it. It will show your ev line for either cash or tourneys. It will also list all your all-ins so you can really see how your doing.

Coin flips are not 50/50.

It's actually about 90% heads, 10% tails. I have proven this and can
show you with hard statistics.

Alot of people are not aware of this.

You folks are involved in a lot of coin flips. I always thought that a coin flip was a last resort move when you're short stacked, or if you have your opponent easily covered. Also, 55 / 45 is a coin flip but 2 to 1 is not. Is 3 to 2 even a coin flip? Are you sure they're coin flips? Okay, sorry to interrupt - carry on.

Yes, good point. Those things always end up as all-in-a-thons!

Well I don't think keeping treack of them is very helpfull 'cause enough coinflips taken it would be in perfect balance, simple math.. Variance is the most ugly thing about poker, but what can you do
