I've looked at FTP Table Manager and PlaceMint, but haven't downloaded either yet. I was wanting to get some clues as to what other people think are the better ones out there. I know both of them have their own quirks, so that's not really an issue. I can get used to them as long as they're not too bad.

TableNinja is nice but it is notorious for stability issues and seriously lagging a system when several tables are open.

I'm longing for the day Hjalper is written for FT. I think it's probably the best of the PS table managers (it also lets you play with an Xbox controller) and can handle dozens of tables with almost no CPU load. Actually it isn't as much a table manager, as it is a focus and hotkey manager, but it allows you to setup your stacks however you like them and it prevents focus stealing and other annoying things that get in the way of comfortably stacking.

Until then, FTP Table Manager looks good but I haven't tried it yet. Since I don't really run more than 4-6 tables these days and I tile them, I don't really need a heavy-duty table manager.

Same here, I've used TableNinja since before it was even taken under the arm of HEM and I love it.

I've used TN and like it, but I don't care for the price (at least for now). But I was looking more towards just stacking and tiling managers more than hotkey type managers.

Well, I downloaded PlaceMint and it seems to be great once you get it figured out. If you go through the directions to get started it's not too hard, but might be a little tough if you are not that good at computer stuffs.

I played around with a couple of different set ups today came to like the one in the screen shot. I play 6 tables and I have it set up to where the top 4 tables can be moved with a hotkey down to one of the 2 lower, larger slots. That way if I have a table I need to keep an eye on I can move it down there with either the left or right arrow keys. What happens is when I hover over one of the top tables and hit the right arrow it moves the selected table to the right, bottom slot. It then takes all the other tables before the right, bottom slot and moves them up a slot.

So if I had it set up this way...

1234
5 6

and wanted to bring table 2 down to where table 6 is at, I would select table 2 and hit the right arrow key. Then it would be like this

1345
6 2

and would remain that way until I move another table. This is a really great program if you multi-table and don't have a large screen or 2 screens. But it also works on multi-screens as well. You can set up slots for your full tilt lobby, last hand replayer, or your internet for sharkscope. Pretty neat idea and it's open source so it's free and being updated quite frequently only making it better.

Why does that stupid picture manager not put the pic where I want it? God, I hate that thing and wish they would fix it.

First off, it never works the first time. I have to open it, exit it, then reopen it again to have a chance. Sometimes I have to exit and reopen a couple of times.

Second, it randomly places the pic at the bottom even when I have the cursor places where I want the pic. ftw

Here's the link for the download for PlaceMint.

You have to download from the first page, and then click on the "files" tab and download the "Regular Expressions List, Poker Rev. 8" and then drop down the menu for Slot Templates and download "Poker Rev. 2" as well.

Placemint is a bit complicated. I use it all the time and have figured some things out but not others. I don't know the rules on here regarding posting about how to use software but if anyone was interested and it isn't against the rules then I'd be happy to share how I use it as I'd be really interested in finding out how it "actually" works instead of my method of fumbling around with it until something does something somewhere near what I wanted it to.
