I play lots of sit and gos on different sites and use
sharkscope to keep track of my results but I have
noticed some strange results, for example

games played Av prof Av stake Av roi total profit

83 $0 $2 -5% $2

this is the smallest sample I use but how can my ROI be -5
when I have a total profit of $2, it just makes no sense to me, it is the
same on other sites I check on there, am I missing something?
or are their stats not reliable?

ROI is based on your buy-in.

Let's say you play two games.
You spend $10 on a game and get $17 ($7 profit).
Next you spend $5 on a game and get $0. ($5 loss)
You have a $2 profit total.
However, you have a 70% ROI the first game and a -100% ROI in the second game. Sharkscope averages these ROI's, which would make it a -15% ROI. So you'd have a losing ROI despite being profitable.

Thanks for the input Savage, I often wondered about ROI as well. That clears it up for me.

Is that just how Sharkscope calculates ROI, by doing the ROI individually then dividing by games played etc.

Thought True ROI is as below
