So I had posted on here earlier this month that my computer was toast. Anyways, long story short I lost all of my hand history. What do you guys suggest for me to do about this? I had PT3, and while I suck, I would still like the hands on others I have played. Not sure that it helps, but was nice to have. Any tips would be greatly appreciate.

there are sites there you can buy hand histories, not
sure if they are compatable with PT3 but it might
be worth looking into, just search poker hand histories
and you will find them

for cash games you can look at the Official Poker Ranking
site or for sit n go's or mtt's look at Shark Scope

and the BIG TIP:D

always back up your data, I do it at least once a week,
it only takes a couple of minutes and saves you all
that hastle:)

A very good tip. I had all of my other files backup up...not sure why I didn't think to back up my poker hands

Anyways, it is certainly not worth me paying for my hands as I am not that good.

Email FT / PS.

I think they save the HH for a while.

You won't get all hands but at least the more recent ones.

Thanks graf! I thought I might give that a try, expecting them to say F off. I guess that is the worst thing that can happen, so why not.

Always keeping notes on the other players in the poker software is another way to not lose data. The poker rooms keep this info indefinitely I believe. Do be sure to backup HH to a flash drive or something also every so often.

if you still have the computer you can pull the hard drive out of the system and pull the files from there....i think PT3 has active data base file if you not back up the files before

i had a laptob that crap out on me and i pulled the hard drive out and connected to my new computer to get the files out.

Buying hand histories is against the TOS of just about every poker site out there that you can buy HH's for, so NO do not do this.

Also, OPR doesn't have any info on cash games, it is also MTTs, I think you are thinking PokerTableRatings.

Do this, I lost my backup due to a power surge that took out my external hard drive in the same week that I was reformatting my computer(I do it every so often to keep it fresh ;)) so I lost both my original and backup. I emailed all of my sites, including FT and PS and they emailed me all of the HH's I asked for. On FT, it being my primary site, the files were enormous, so one of FT's support actually uploaded them to transferbigfiles.com for me to download from because they wouldn't fit in an email. This was about 2 years ago, but I can't imagine they wouldn't help you out if you asked. At the very least, FT will activate the HH Beta Tool in your Account page and you can download on your own, but it will take a while depending on how many hands you have because you can only do 10k hands at a time.
