I saw frosty012's vid of him 24tabling and his tables were stacked. When he checked/folded/raised or bet any of the tables, another table which required action was automatically brought up for him to play. My question is, does the pokerstars client do this by itself when you choose the stack tables option or do you need to have table ninja to do this?

I don't want to play 24 tables but this would help me with any tilt if i was playing 6-10 tables.

It's not TN doing this. It's PS. Most (all?) sites have an option to bring any table requiring action to the front of the stack. It'd be pretty-much impossible to play with stacked tables without this feature.

I think that it's an interesting by-product of stacking tables that it can be somewhat of a cure for tilt. You often really don't even see the result of your action until later. Make your best play, move on to the next table requiring action....

That's exactly why i would need it. The fact that I will not see the result of the hand will help me with tilt.

I know that the sites bring up the table requiring action but when i had my tables tiled and another couple of tables required actions then pokerstars usually kept switching the tables which caused me to panic but when I will have my tables stacked then PS will wait till I take action before it switches to another window?

Yes it should wait. Never played with tiled tables since I have a small monitor, so I'm not sure why it's doing that. Been a long time since I've played PS since I'm in the US, but stacked worked perfectly for me.

I seem to remember that there is a check box somewhere (don't even have PS installed anymore so I can't find it for you) under table preferences, maybe? Anyway you select it and it brings any table rerquiring action to the top where it stays until you've made your play. This has been like over a year ago now, so maybe PS just does it automatically at this point. If not, search-out and find the check box to have them pop to the front.

what i have found in advanced multi-table options is "popup table whenever user action is required" but doesn't say nothing about stealing focus but since pokerstars has the function to stack tables in my opinion it has been thought through and that it should wait until the user acts on the current table

I'm almost certain it's default where pokerstars brings the table to the front which requires action.

popup table whenever user action is required should bring it in front of any other stuff you have open, i'm pretty sure that's the idea

i just stack them and it forms them into a queue - it won't push one in front of a table while youre making a decision. however, don't use the pre-action checkboxes because if a table does pop up in front just before you click it'll put the action onto that table

I dont remember stars but I think it's similar to what merge is doing. I just finished multi 3-5 with this for merge. If you need to act at table 1 it comes to the front and if table 2 needs action before you act at table 1 it keeps table 1 on top until you act. then the next table pops up. I like doing all my funstep tickets sometimes and getting 10-15 tables going this way and it's constant action. I guess like a poor-man's rush.

Yes, this is what I was talking about. Just haven't used PS in so long I forgot exactly where it was located. Make sure this is selected and everything should work just fine.

ok so i've played 6 tables and the pokerstars client does wait for me to act which is the good side of stacking tables :) hovewer i can't get used to the fast pace as once the next table pops up and i see a flop i often forget if i was the pre-flop agressor etc and don't know how to play post flop? will i get used to this in time or should i play differently? for example only be the pre-flop agressor and not call for example 3xbb raises? note: i only played with stacked tables for about 15-20minutes.
