I am looking for advice on software that helps with calculating odds in real time during a STT or MTT. Things like EV, pot odds and M-Zone is what i am really after. I have been improving in my SnG games and really think that software that gives me this information would help to improve it even further.

Any advice for software like this. Tournament Indicator looks good and I have used the free Omaha version in the past but that was for play money games so no real way to tell if it helped or not.

Propokerlabs also has a calculator that looks good but the forums there are pretty dead.

Also if there is any free software like this out there that would be great to know as well.

I also forgot to add that I really want this type of software because I feel it is better than software like PT for STT. Maybe both are still needed but i don;t find myself using the HUD for info during a SnG the way i would with Ring games.

If you really want to improve your SnG game get sit-n-go wiz or sng power tools. They can't be used in real time but to analyze your game after they are invaluable as you need an ICM calculator for SnG. The other stuff your looking for like pot-odds and M calculator there just not worth it. M is easy to figure out and pot-odds odds are a fundamental part of poker that you need to learn by heart. To use a crutch will I believe hurt your game in the long run. Second, these program can not calculate things like FE(fold equity), when to blind steal/ re-steal which can be so important in tourneys and SnG.

Best of luck.

I used to use Hold Em Indicator for Ring and Tournament Indicator for SnG/MTTs, but a lot of mixed opinions on that there it was just helpful that it automatically calculated pot odds and odds of what hands your opponent is playing as well.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will have to look into those two pieces of software.

I was considering Tourney Indicator as well. It's pricey though.
