Those of you that have recorded videos of online play, what's your recommendation for screen capture software? I'd like to record some play so I can get some feedback. I would go the hand-history route but I can't seem to get Bovada histories to show in PT4, even after using converters. Thanks!

If you use the Bovada HH converter from Ace Poker Solutions, it converts the Bovada HH into a pokerstars format, and then you can import them into PT4 or HM2. And then you should be able to take those HH's and post on forums if that is what you are trying to do. As well as have stats and graphs on yourself. It has a free trial, so maybe give it a try and see if it does what you are looking for.

As far as recording software, i've heard a lot of poker people mention Camtasia.

Camtasia is definitely a very good screen recording software, I have used it many a times for online gaming :]

You can download a free trial or buy the software here.

If you dont want to buy the software you might be able to find a Key for the software if you look around hard enough. You may also want to look up guides to find the best settings for recording.

There are other screen recording software out there that might not be as good but are free, if you chose not to purchase the program and your trial ran out and you are looking for something else.

Ya I'm using the trial right now I like it a lot so far. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it so the hard working developers of this App will continue to upgrade it.

I would recommend Fraps, I always use it when recording anything on the computer. Best video capturing program imo and its free.
