I have 400K hands. A lot of them old. I am taking a brand new approach to poker. I have overall stats like 21/14, but am playing a 18/15 game now - 6 max, and I guess I am too tight??? - but when posting hands I want my stats appearing as they are now, for one thing. Is there any reason for me to just get the old shit out every now and then? and if I do, why? any if I do, what do I need to NOT erase, if there is any way to differentiate?

Anyway, how do you all work with your DB?

HEM1, prolly gonna upgrade soon.

You should be able to use filters to see what you want while still maintaining the entire db.

Also when posting stats, for yourself you only want to be posting that particular table stat as thats all everyone who is playing against you will have.

I did a purge of my DB awhile back, and i can't remember now, but it wasn't quite as simple as i thought it would be. In HM2, i just had to make sure all my usernames or Alias players, were saved under an Alias. then make sure to check that you want to save those hands. but it still seems i ended up losing a few hands somewhere.

But like WVH said, you could just use the filters to make sure you are seeing more current hands.
